Global warming my A**E
Well what happened here then ? one minute I was commiserating with others, who were showing snowy scenes on their blogs in the USA & Canada, and then low & behold we got our own. I don't like it one bit, it may be pretty, but it's difficult to walk in and we can't use the car, so I feel like hibernating until it's all gone. Here are some photo's I took when I ventured bravely into the garden. OK I know us Brits are wussies, but we are not used to this, the whole country is in chaos. Mother Nature does it again !!! respect !

Hi Helen, your right it does look beautiful, if only it wasn't so cold though !
OH how funny. We might get a short snow storm tonight but the ground is too warm for it to stick. Here in NC we usually get at least two good snows. I guess we sent it your way.
We see you on the news. That looks like a lot of snow and it has halted everything. It does that here too. One flake and we all run for cover.
I was amazed to see how much snow fell in London and the south east yesterday Maureen. We had some but nothing in comparison. Your garden looks a tranquil spot. I like all those shades of blue and wondered what was lying under the blanket of snow.
Now normally, we're covered in snow over here in Northumberland, and the rest of the country flitters on by as though they haven't a clue what we're on about. The need for gritters almost every night, snow ploughs attached to tractors as a matter of course, etc.
But the past few days? Nothing - a few icy flakes and not much else. And today is the most beautiful Spring-like day.
