Gardeners little Luxuries

A friend of mine has been very impressed with some organic soaps and hand /body cream that she has been using. The fragrance she likes is called Gin and Tonic !! which suits her well  as it's her favourite tipple. Anyway I thought I would check it out and try some myself.

My goodies arrived beautifully packages in a nice sturdy white box and laid gently in straw.( well shredded white paper straw)
There was a gardeners soap and Tree-Mend-Us hand and body cream

The fragrance is lovely and the soap is highly exfoliating and contains nettle, comfrey, powdered pumice, shredded loofah and poppy seeds to scrub away the dirt from us gardeners hard working hands. Made with Olive oil to soften the skin and fragranced with organic Lavender, Organic Lemongrass and Tea Tree essential oil known to be antibacterial and antiseptic. Just to give you an idea how natural the contents are.

And some adorable bath bombs in the shape of 'Smelly Wellies'

I am so impressed with these products and can't wait for a chance to try the 'Hippy Rose' fragrance (that name is so me!)
The cream by the way is gentle enough to even use on the face, and are apparently used by many with very dry skin, eczema, psoriasis and skin conditions, so they are very gentle and pure.
If you fancy treating yourself or someone you love take a look at the website.
Here is the link to The Littlecote Soap Co.  www.littlecotesoap.co.uk
The products are also sold at selected National Trust shops and many other gift shops around the UK.

Hello, I'm a newcomer to your bog but am enjoying reading all your posts. I couldn't not leave a comment here as this company is based out of a farm about a mile from my house. They have a lovely shop on the farm where they also make all the soap and candles AND they also sell freshly laid free range eggs for £1.50 a dozen, cheaper and tastier than any others locally or otherwise.

Mmmmm, these sound lovely! Such a pity we can't get scratch and sniff on our computers! I used to use Crabtree and Evelyn gardener's hand therapy but sometimes found the scent overwhelming. Now I opt for simple handwash and a nailbrush! Good for you, treating yourself! xx

Hi Emma, and welcome to my blog and thanks for commenting. You are so lucky being near this company, I am very impressed with the quality and the gorgeous aroma of the products.
The eggs are a very good price, I pay £2.20 for a dozen locally laid eggs here.
I will pay a visit to your blog.

Hi Caro, yes such a shame you can't smell these they are really nice. I have some Crabtree and Evelyn 'Citron' hand therapy, it was a Christmas gift and it's got a lovely smell, but I think I prefer this range now.

I'm such a lover of packaging - the goods inside have to be good too - but it's the outside that draws me to them in the first place. And I would definitely be drawn to these. Am off to take a look at their website.

I will have to have a peep at this website Maureem. I have to be extra careful with smellies as I have eczema but these products sound as if they might be kind to the skin :)

Hi Anna, The company leaflet says that Eczema suffers do use these products, but you could always e-mail or phone them to make sure.
They use all natural ingredients, but if you have the condition really bad I guess even those could trigger it, so best be sure.
By the way good luck in the book draw.
